non-alcoholic, but can be refined with a little rum in icy cold weather

Pour 200 ml of boiling water over the apple tea and let it steep for 10 minutes. Remove the tea bag. Heat the tea with apple juice, elderberry juice, cinnamon sticks, cloves, and orange peel; do not boil. Remove the spices and sweeten with honey if desired. This punch is especially suitable for children, as it contains no alcohol and elderberry juice is a good preventative against colds. Adults can, of course, add a shot of rum.
