Quick fried Maggi noodles

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 300 g pasta (penne or macaroni)
  • salt water
  • 2 sausages (Wiener)
  • 10 dashes of Maggi
  • 1 cup ketchup
  • some oil, neutral

Instructions

Working time approx. 3 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 23 minutes

Not a 5-star dish but quickly prepared with the simplest ingredients – even beginners and children can manage it

Cook the noodles in boiling salted water until soft. While the noodles are cooking, slice the sausages and fry them lightly in a pan with oil (it’s okay if you want them to get a nice brown color). You can season the sausages with a few dashes of Maggi while they’re frying. When the noodles are cooked, drain them in a sieve. Then add the noodles to the pan with the sausages. Mix the sausages and noodles well and then season generously with Maggi to taste. If you like the Maggi flavor, you can add a little more seasoning. The quantities given are only an approximate guide. Now fry the noodles in the pan until lightly browned. Stir occasionally. This process takes about 10 minutes. Again, if you prefer them crispier, you can let them sizzle in the pan for longer. Finally, pour the ketchup over the noodles and mix well. Now let the pasta cook for another 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the ketchup has combined with the pasta and warmed through. It’s now ready to serve. You can also top it with grated cheese. This is definitely not a 5-star meal, but it’s a quick, easy dish that doesn’t require much work, and you usually have the ingredients at home. Kids love this dish, too. Leftovers can easily be reheated.
