Quick garlic soup

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 200 ml milk
  • 125 ml water
  • 2 slices of toast, regular or wholemeal
  • 1 clove(s) garlic
  • 1 pinch of nutmeg
  • 1 pinch(s) thyme
  • salt and pepper
  • Herbs of your choice
  • e.g. vegetable stock cubes or soy sauce, to taste
  • chives

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Remove the crust from the toast and break it into small pieces. Place it in a saucepan with the milk, water, garlic, and spices. Bring to a boil and simmer on low heat for about 5 minutes. Purée and serve. Sprinkle with chives.
