Quick low-carb carrot noodles with shrimp

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 7 shrimp tails
  • 2 large carrots
  • 1 tsp, stalked dill, frozen
  • 1 tsp, stalked parsley, frozen
  • 1 tsp, sautéed basil, frozen
  • 50 ml cream
  • butter
  • salt and pepper
  • chili powder

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Peel the carrots. Use a peeler to peel off as many strips as the carrots allow. Season the prawns with chili and salt. Add the carrot strips to boiling salted water for about one and a half minutes. Melt butter in a pan or pot until it sizzles. Add the prawns, followed immediately by the carrot strips. Let sizzle slightly and then add the cream. Stir in the parsley, dill, and basil. Season with salt and pepper if desired. Tip: If you puree the mixture without the prawns, you have the basis for a good soup.
