Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 17 minutes; Total time approx. 37 minutes
Dough that doesn’t need to rise
Knead the dough ingredients into a smooth, non-sticky dough. Set aside and mix together the filling ingredients. This can take a good amount of seasoning. Cut 5-7 roughly equal-sized pieces from the dough. Roll these out into an oblong oval, no more than ½ cm thick. Spread about 2 tablespoons of the filling on top. Fold up the long sides and twist the ends together. If desired, you can now top with olives, onion rings, and/or peppers, cut into strips or cubes. Spinach or mozzarella would also work. Then place the boats on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and bake in the oven at 200°C (top/bottom heat) for 15-20 minutes on the middle rack.
