Quick Mushroom Patties

Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 6 Puff Pastry Queen Patties
  • 250 g mushrooms, white or brown
  • 15 g porcini mushrooms, dried
  • 200 ml water, hot
  • 4 sprigs of parsley, chopped
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 tbsp flour
  • Butter, for frying
  • possibly cheese

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Soak the porcini mushrooms in hot water for a few hours. Thinly slice the mushrooms and sauté them in plenty of butter. Add the porcini mushrooms and continue to sauté; reduce by about half their volume. Then deglaze with the soaking liquid from the porcini mushrooms and stir in the parsley. Season with salt and pepper. Thicken with flour, if desired, and fill the patties. Bake at 200°C for about 10 minutes and serve while still hot. If you like, you can also sprinkle some grated cheese over the patties before baking for a delicious crust.
