Quick pasta pan à la Steffi

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 250 g fork spaghetti or capellini
  • 200 g poultry sausage
  • 1 bell pepper(s), green or red
  • ½ pack of dried tomatoes, pickled with herbs and capers
  • 1 small onion(s)
  • 1 garlic clove(s)
  • e.g. paprika powder
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

with meat sausage, peppers and dried tomatoes

Cook the pasta according to the package instructions until al dente. Cut the sausage, bell peppers, and sun-dried tomatoes into small pieces. Peel and finely chop the onion and garlic. Brown all ingredients one after the other in a deep pan in a few tablespoons of the oil from the pickled tomatoes. Add the cooked pasta and continue cooking until the desired degree of browning is achieved. Season with salt, pepper, and paprika. I prefer green bell peppers, as their slightly bitter flavor pairs well with the spicy sun-dried tomatoes. If you like, you can add powdered onions and garlic.
