Quick peach quark cake

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 cake base (sponge cake base)
  • 1 can/n peach(s)
  • 500 g quark
  • 125 g sugar
  • 2 tbsp rum
  • 375 ml cream
  • 1 tbsp vanilla sugar
  • 1 pkt. gelatin

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Place the sponge cake base in a springform pan lined with aluminum foil. Drain the peaches, cut two halves into wedges, and cover the base with the remaining peaches. Combine the quark, sugar, and rum. Whip the cream until stiff peaks form. Gradually add the vanilla sugar and fold it into the quark mixture. Dissolve the gelatin, stir it into the quark mixture, and pour it onto the base. Smooth the mixture down and let it set. Garnish with the peach slices.
