Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 400 g wheat flour type 405
  • 200 ml water, lukewarm
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 4 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Rest time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

with olive oil instead of lard

Combine flour and salt in a bowl and mix. Make a well in the center and add the oil. Gradually add the water to knead into a soft dough and shape into a ball. Let it rest for 5 minutes. Divide into small 90g balls. Roll each ball out into a thin flatbread with a rolling pin. Preheat a non-stick pan or grill pan. Cook the piadine on both sides and top with your favorite toppings. Here are my favorite ingredients: with cocktail sauce, shrimp, and lettuce. With cooked ham, mushrooms, and mozzarella. Vegetarian with fried zucchini, tomatoes, and mozzarella, or sweet with Nutella.
