Quick poppy seed noodles

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 140 g potato flour (powder for potato dumplings, ready-made product)
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 30 g butter
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 50 g poppy seeds, ground
  • powdered sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 15 hours; Total time approx. 15 hours 15 minutes

Prepare the potato dough with the egg according to the package instructions and let it rest for 15 minutes. Form the dough into noodles as thick as your little finger (roll between your hands). Add to lightly salted boiling water and simmer gently for a few minutes until the noodles float to the surface. Meanwhile, heat the butter in a pan, add the vanilla sugar and caramelize lightly, then add the poppy seeds. Remove the noodles from the water with a slotted spoon and add to the poppy seed mixture. Toss or stir gently. Sprinkle with powdered sugar, if desired, and serve.
