Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 packet of dry yeast
  • 125 ml milk (if you are on a diet: low-fat)
  • 40 g margarine (for diets: low-fat)
  • 1 pumpkin(s), 400 g pumpkin flesh
  • 5 tbsp sugar
  • 600 g flour
  • 1 pinch of salt

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

First, halve a pumpkin. Remove the seeds and fibers. Then bake the pumpkin in a preheated oven at 170°C for about 45 minutes. Let the pumpkin cool, then scoop out the pumpkin flesh. Place 400g of pumpkin flesh in a bowl and puree. Now add the milk and margarine and stir in. Then knead in the flour, sugar, and dried yeast. Let the dough rise for about 30 minutes. Pour the dough into a prepared 26cm loaf pan. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C on the middle rack for about 40-50 minutes.
