Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 rabbit
  • 1 bulb(s) garlic
  • 1 bottle of beer, light
  • Salt
  • pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Season the rabbit pieces or legs with salt and pepper. Place them in a roasting pan along with the peeled garlic cloves. Pour in about 0.5 liters of light beer. Cover and braise in the oven at approximately 225-250°C for about 1.5 hours. At the end of the cooking time, the roasting pan lid can be removed, allowing the rabbit pieces to brown a little more. Serve with a hearty cabbage or vegetable side dish.
