  • 250 g applesauce
  • 3 tsp raw cane sugar
  • 3 tsp cinnamon
  • some plant milk (plant drink)
  • some raw cane sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

Perfect for using up leftover applesauce

Divide the puff pastry into 6 squares and spread the applesauce in the center. Sprinkle 1/2 teaspoon each of sugar and cinnamon over the applesauce. Fold over and press the edges together with a fork. Brush with the plant-based milk and sprinkle with a little raw cane sugar. Score each triangle twice to allow the hot air to escape during baking. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C (top/bottom heat) on the middle rack for about 20 minutes, until the squares have risen and are browned.
