Radish and cheese salad with Harzer

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 bunch of radishes
  • 200 g Harzer cheese
  • 3 spring onions
  • 150 g natural yogurt 1.5% fat
  • 2 tbsp salad cream
  • Caraway powder
  • Ginger powder
  • Chili powder or chili flakes
  • Spice pepper or black pepper from the mill
  • Salt
  • 1 pinch of sugar to taste

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 2 hours; Total time approx. 2 hours 15 minutes

Slice the radishes and dice the Harzer cheese. Mix the two. Combine the yogurt and salad cream and season with the spices. The dressing can be a bit spicier. Add a pinch of sugar if desired and stir the dressing into the radish and cheese mixture. Mix well and season again if desired. Let it sit in the refrigerator for about 1-2 hours. Baguette or toasted bread and a cold beer perfectly round out this refreshing experience. Tip: If you like a bit more color, you can also add some spring onions to the salad. It looks delicious and is very fresh and flavorful.
