Radish salad from Austria

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 white radish (500 g each)
  • 1 red radish (250 g each)
  • 1 small cucumber(s) (200 g each)
  • 150 g sour cream
  • 2 tbsp wine vinegar (5% acidity)
  • 2 tbsp sunflower oil
  • Salt and pepper, freshly ground
  • 2 tbsp chives

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

For the radish salad, peel the white radish and thoroughly brush the red radish under cold running water. Wash the cucumber as well. Finely grate the radish and cucumber using a grater and combine in a large bowl. For the radish dressing, combine the sour cream, salt, pepper, vinegar, and oil in a bowl until smooth. Pour over the radish salad and mix well. Season with salt and pepper. Arrange the radish salad and cucumber side by side on plates, sprinkle with chives, and serve.
