Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 400 g flour
- 300 g butter
- 175 g sugar
- 1 vanilla pod(s), the pulp
- 1 tsp sea salt, coarse
- 1 tbsp granulated sugar
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 30 minutes
Melt the butter in a saucepan and let it brown. Then let it cool. Now add the next three ingredients and knead into a smooth dough. Shape the dough into squares and chill for at least 1 hour. Cut into 5 mm thick slices, mix the granulated sugar with the sea salt, and sprinkle over the cookies, pressing lightly. Bake in a preheated oven to 180 degrees Celsius for 10-12 minutes until golden brown. Let cool completely.
