Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • Pepper, red, large
  • Raisins
  • Vinegar
  • Honey
  • Water

Instructions

Antipasti

The peppers are marinated in a 1:1:1 mixture of water, vinegar, and honey. Cut off the stems and carefully remove the seeds. Fill with raisins. Pack the peppers tightly into preserving jars. Bring the water, vinegar, and honey mixture to a boil and pour over the peppers. Seal the jars tightly and place them in a pot of water. Bring the water to a boil, then turn off the heat and let everything cool slowly. Store in a cool, dark place for about 3 weeks before enjoying. They keep very well.
