Ramen – Japanese Noodle Soup
The perfect ramen – japanese noodle soup recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 2 tbsp Sesame oil
- 1 tsp Sambal Oelek
- 1 kl. Onion
- 4 tbsp Chopped tomato
- 1 tbsp Chopped ginger
- 5 Garlic cloves
- 1 pole Celery
- 1 l Vegetable broth
- 0,5 l Water
- 1 tbsp Soy sauce
- 1 tsp Rice vinegar
- 1 tsp Agave syrup
- 200 g Mie noodles
- 4 Spring onions
- Peel the onion, garlic and ginger and wash the celery. Cut everything into large pieces.
- Heat the sesame oil in a large saucepan and fry the sambal oelek. Add the onion and tomatoes to the saucepan and fry for about 4 minutes, stirring regularly. Now add the ginger, garlic and celery and cook for about 2 minutes. Add the water to the vegetables and mix everything very finely with a hand blender. Add the vegetable stock.
- Bring to a simmer and stir in the soy sauce, agave syrup and rice vinegar. Let everything simmer for about 10 minutes. Taste and season as needed.
- Finally add the pasta. In the meantime, wash the spring onions and cut into fine rings. When the pasta is done, stir in the spring onions and serve
