Ramen – Japanese Noodle Soup

The perfect ramen – japanese noodle soup recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 2 tbsp Sesame oil
  • 1 tsp Sambal Oelek
  • 1 kl. Onion
  • 4 tbsp Chopped tomato
  • 1 tbsp Chopped ginger
  • 5 Garlic cloves
  • 1 pole Celery
  • 1 l Vegetable broth
  • 0,5 l Water
  • 1 tbsp Soy sauce
  • 1 tsp Rice vinegar
  • 1 tsp Agave syrup
  • 200 g Mie noodles
  • 4 Spring onions
  1. Peel the onion, garlic and ginger and wash the celery. Cut everything into large pieces.
  2. Heat the sesame oil in a large saucepan and fry the sambal oelek. Add the onion and tomatoes to the saucepan and fry for about 4 minutes, stirring regularly. Now add the ginger, garlic and celery and cook for about 2 minutes. Add the water to the vegetables and mix everything very finely with a hand blender. Add the vegetable stock.
  3. Bring to a simmer and stir in the soy sauce, agave syrup and rice vinegar. Let everything simmer for about 10 minutes. Taste and season as needed.
  4. Finally add the pasta. In the meantime, wash the spring onions and cut into fine rings. When the pasta is done, stir in the spring onions and serve
