Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • ½ liter of milk
  • 2 tbsp, heaped cornstarch
  • 3 tbsp sugar
  • 1 vanilla pod(s)
  • 3 cl raspberry syrup or other flavor

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 15 minutes

Scrape out the vanilla pod. Set aside a cup of milk. Bring the remaining milk to a boil with the sugar, vanilla seeds, scraped pod, and syrup. Meanwhile, combine the sieved cornstarch with the milk from the cup. A small bowl is best for this. When the milk and syrup come to a boil, add the milk and cornstarch and bring to a boil, stirring constantly with a whisk, until the mixture becomes creamy. Pour the pudding into molds or a bowl and let cool.
