Ravioli with mushroom cream sauce

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 box of mushrooms
  • 4 slices of cheese
  • 300 ml cream or Cremefine
  • 200 g ham, cooked, diced
  • some oil
  • salt and pepper
  • Herbs as desired
  • 500g ravioli

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Cook the ravioli in plenty of salted water. Clean and slice the mushrooms. Meanwhile, fry the ham cubes in a little oil in a large pan. Add the mushrooms. Once the mushrooms have browned, add the cream or crème fraîche and simmer on low heat until the sauce becomes creamy and thickens. Then add the cheese and continue simmering, stirring constantly. When the sauce has reached the desired consistency, turn off the heat but let it stand on the warm plate, season with salt and pepper, and fold in the finely chopped herbs. Drain the ravioli, carefully toss with the sauce, and serve immediately.
