Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 300 g ham (Italian raw ham), preferably San Daniele
  • 250 g mozzarella (baby mozzarella)
  • 100 g arugula
  • 12 figs, blue, fresh, ripe
  • Vinegar, plum or currant vinegar)
  • 125 ml cream
  • n. B. Madeira
  • White pepper, freshly ground
  • 1 tsp honey
  • e.g. balsamic vinegar
  • Salt

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Spread arugula on the plate, then arrange 4-5 pieces of baby mozzarella, sliced ​​if desired. Drape a few slices of ham on top. Drizzle with plum vinegar and garnish with sliced ​​figs. For the sauce, combine cream with honey, balsamic vinegar, and Madeira wine, and season with salt and pepper. Spoon over the ham. Note: This appetizer also tastes delicious with strawberries.
