Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 head of red cabbage
  • 2 large onions
  • 5 apples
  • 3 tbsp oil
  • 3 bay leaves
  • ½ tsp cinnamon
  • 4 cloves
  • ¼ cup water
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tsp vinegar (apple cider vinegar)

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

quick and easy

Chop the onions and apples. Heat the oil and sauté the onions briefly. Add the apple pieces and fry. Shred the cabbage and add them to the pot with the remaining ingredients. Cover and let everything simmer for 30 to 60 minutes (depending on your taste). Season the finished red cabbage and serve.
