Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g matjes fillet(s)
  • 2 large jacket potatoes
  • 4 eggs, hard-boiled
  • 400 g meat sausage
  • 300 g beetroot, cooked
  • 3 large gherkins
  • 2 m.-sized apples
  • 2 cups sour cream
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest time approx. 8 hours; Total time approx. 8 hours 30 minutes

New Year’s Eve family recipe

Cut all ingredients into the smallest possible cubes and season with a little pepper and salt. Mix everything with the sour cream. Let the salad marinate overnight, if possible.
