Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 125 g butter
  • 125 g sugar
  • 4 drops of rum flavoring
  • 3 eggs
  • 125 g flour
  • 2 tsp cocoa powder
  • ½ pack of baking powder
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 100 g chocolate, chopped
  • 250 g powdered sugar
  • some wine, red
  • possibly chocolate, for labeling

Grease a 1-liter heart-shaped baking dish and preheat the oven to 180°C. Beat the butter with the sugar and rum flavoring until creamy. Beat in the eggs one at a time. Mix the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and cinnamon and sift in; mix well. Finally, fold the chocolate chips into the batter. Pour into the greased heart-shaped baking dish and bake at 180°C for about 45 minutes. Let cool on a wire rack. Mix the powdered sugar with the red wine to form a thick glaze and cover the cake completely with it, allowing it to dry. Decorate with melted chocolate, if desired. The cake will still taste very moist even after several days.
