Ingredients for 12 servings:

  • 300 g butter
  • 300 g sugar
  • 2 packets of vanilla sugar
  • 6 eggs
  • 1 ½ tsp cinnamon
  • 1 ½ tsp cocoa powder
  • 150 g chocolate
  • ⅛ liter red wine
  • 300 g flour
  • 1 packet of baking powder
  • Butter and breadcrumbs for the mold

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Beat the butter with the sugar and vanilla sugar until fluffy, then add the 6 egg yolks one at a time. Stir the cinnamon, cocoa, and melted chocolate into the batter. Then gradually stir in the red wine and the flour mixed with the baking powder (not all at once). Beat the 6 egg whites until stiff peaks form and gently fold them in (do not overmix!). Pour the entire mixture into a bundt pan lined with butter and breadcrumbs and bake for 1 hour at 170°C.
