Ingredients for 10 servings:

  • 1 onion(s)
  • 200 ml red wine (Bordeaux)
  • 2 tbsp sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

e.g. with baked oysters or beef fillet

Peel and finely chop the onion. Then place it in a saucepan, add the red wine and sugar, and reduce until the onion pieces have almost thickened the red wine. Let it cool, then serve.
