Refreshing stuffed tomatoes

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 4 large tomatoes
  • 180 g quark
  • 3 spring onions
  • 3 sprigs mint, fresh
  • 3 sprigs parsley, flat
  • 2 slices of cooked ham
  • 4 leaves of lettuce (head lettuce)
  • Paprika powder
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Cut a top off the tomatoes, hollow them out, season with salt, and let them drain upside down. Meanwhile, mix the well-drained quark with chopped spring onions and the chopped herbs. Dice the ham and stir it into the quark along with salt and pepper. Fill the tomatoes with the quark mixture, place them on a lettuce leaf, and sprinkle with paprika.
