Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 250 g flour
  • 120 g butter
  • 70 g sugar
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 egg(s)

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Basic recipe according to Grandma

Sift the flour into a bowl and briefly mix with the sugar, vanilla sugar, and salt. Now add the egg and butter and knead vigorously for a good 5 minutes. Form the dough into a ball, cover, and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes. After it has rested, use the dough as desired. (Grandma always made cookies with it, or a delicious pie crust.)
