Ingredients

  • 500 g Minced meat
  • 100 g Onion, roasted
  • 1 tbsp Mint, freshly cut
  • 1 tbsp Coriander fresh, cut
  • 2 Garlic cloves pressed
  • 1 tsp Bacon, very finely diced
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 0,25 tsp Chilli powder
  • 0,5 tsp Garam masala
  • 1 Egg

Instructions

  • Mix all ingredients together and place in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours or better overnight.
  • Immerse wooden skewers (I use bamboo skewers) in the water for at least 1 hour and then skewer the seasoned meat.
  • The skewers should be about 2-3 cm in diameter. You can shape it thinner or thicker as you like, but then you have to shorten or lengthen the baking time accordingly.
  • Spread the skewers on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. I leave about 2 cm between the skewers.
  • Bake on the upper rail at 250 degrees for about 15 minutes.
  • The skewers also taste very good cold and you can warm them up well after cooling in the microwave (approx. 1 minute).
