Rice casserole with meatloaf and mushrooms

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 250 g rice
  • 400 g meat – cheese, in one piece
  • 250 g mushrooms
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 1 bunch of parsley
  • 1 tsp seasoning
  • ½ lemon(s)
  • 1 dl cream
  • 80 g cheese (Gruyère), grated

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Cook the rice. Dice the meatloaf. Slice the mushrooms into thin slices. Finely chop the onion and parsley. Sauté everything together in hot fat for a few minutes. Season with the spice mix and add the juice of half a lemon and the cream. Cook everything thoroughly and mix with the rice and 40g of grated Gruyère. Transfer to a buttered baking dish. Sprinkle the remaining Gruyère over the top and scatter the butter flakes over the top. Bake in a well-preheated oven for about 20 minutes.
