Schaltanosiai

Knead the pasta dough (a cup here refers to a 250 ml container), roll it out thinly on a floured surface, and cut out circles approximately 5 cm in diameter. Place a slightly heaped teaspoon of filling into the center of each, fold over, and pinch the edges tightly. For the filling: Mix all ingredients. Place the parcels in lightly salted boiling water and cook over medium heat until they “pop” back up – this takes a maximum of 10 minutes. Remove with a slotted spoon, toss briefly in butter, or serve with a dollop of sour cream.
