Rice – 'cheese' – carrots – patties

Ingredients for 9 servings:

  • 160 g brown rice
  • 200 g carrot(s)
  • 200 g cheese, “Cheddar Style with Chives” *
  • 1 pinch(s) of sugar
  • 2 tsp herbal salt
  • 20 peppercorns, grind
  • 100 g buckwheat, ground, for binding
  • Olive oil, for frying

Instructions

Working time approx. 40 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

gluten-free, egg-free, dairy-free, vegan

Cook brown rice. Coarsely grate the carrots and “cheese,” mix with sugar, salt, and pepper. Stir in the cooked brown rice, then the ground buckwheat. Form patties with wet hands and fry on both sides in hot fat, slightly reducing the heat. *Note: This “cheese” is made from soy, gluten-free, lactose-free, and vegan. It is certified organic and is produced in Scotland. My own recipe.
