Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 250 g rice (short grain rice)
- 250 g sugar
- 4 eggs, separated
- 125 g butter
- 1 tbsp jam (apple jelly)
- 1 lemon(s), the juice
- some butter
- n. B. Fruits from the can
- 50 g almonds, chopped
- 1 packet of vanilla sugar
- n. B. water
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes
with apple jelly and fruit
Boil the short-grain rice in water until tender and let cool. Whisk the egg yolks with sugar until frothy, then beat with the butter, apple jelly, and lemon juice in a double boiler until thickened. Mix into the rice. Grease a baking dish with butter, pour in half of the rice mixture, spread the fruit over it, and cover with the remaining rice. Beat the egg whites with the vanilla sugar until stiff, spread over the rice, and sprinkle with almonds. Bake in the oven at 220°C for approximately 30-40 minutes.
