Rice pan with green beans

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g beans, green
  • 2 onions
  • 200 g rice
  • 50 ml olive oil
  • Salt
  • 20 g butter
  • Paprika powder

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes

Trim, wash, and chop the beans. Peel and finely dice the onions. Wash and drain the rice. Heat the oil in a saucepan and sauté the onions. Add the rice and simmer briefly, stirring occasionally. Pour in 400 ml of water, add the beans, and cook over low heat until cooked through. After 5 minutes, add 1/2 teaspoon of salt. Melt the butter in a saucepan and stir in the paprika. Place the drained beans and rice in a bowl and drizzle with the paprika-flavored butter. Serve warm or cold.
