Rice pan with peppers and salami

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 1 bag of rice (boil-in-the-bag)
  • Water (salt water)
  • some red bell pepper(s)
  • some bell pepper(s), yellow
  • some bell pepper(s), green
  • e.g. salami, diced
  • some cheese (e.g. Emmental), grated
  • salt and pepper
  • Herbs

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Cook the rice in salted water according to the package instructions. In the meantime, deseed and wash the bell peppers and dice them into small cubes. Dice the salami slices as well. Remove the cooked rice from the heat and place it in a pan. Add the bell peppers and salami and fry briefly. Grated cheese adds extra flavor and thickens the mixture. Season the rice dish with salt, pepper, and herbs. Leftovers from the day before, such as rice, are also suitable for this recipe.
