Ingredients for 3 servings:
- 300 g turkey meat
- 200 g rice or wholegrain rice
- 170 g mushrooms, jar or fresh
- 2 onions
- 1 garlic clove(s)
- 2 bell peppers, roasted
- 100 g leek
- 1 tsp, heaped seasoning mix (roast chicken seasoning salt)
- 1 tsp, leveled paprika powder
- 1 tsp, leveled curry powder
- 1 tsp, heaped broth, instant (soup granules)
- 1 cup low-fat cream
- salt and pepper
- nutmeg
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes
First, cook the rice according to the manufacturer’s instructions, add 1 teaspoon of soup granules and a pinch of salt. Now brown the finely chopped turkey in the pan, add the chopped onions and the finely chopped garlic clove and let it simmer for a while. Add the finely chopped mushrooms and reduce the heat. Now chop the bell pepper and leek and stir them into the pan, seasoning everything to taste. Thicken the whole thing with 1 cup of cream and as soon as the rice is done, mix it into the mixture and let it stand for 3 minutes, or after a while if necessary. You can also serve it with a salad.
