Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 2 cup(s) brown rice (medium grain)
  • 4 cups water
  • 300 g carrot(s), (organic) finely grated
  • 4 eggs
  • Salt (seasoning salt)
  • 100 g buckwheat, ground
  • 3 grains of pepper, freshly ground
  • 1 pinch(s) of cane sugar
  • Salt
  • Olive oil or rapeseed oil

Working time approx. 40 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

Boil the rice in water, let it cool. Mix in the grated carrots, eggs, buckwheat, peppercorns, and sugar, and season with salt and pepper. Heat the pans until very hot, then add the oil and palm-sized patties to the pan. Gently press down with a spatula and cook. Depending on the size, this can take three to five minutes per side. Any type of sauce goes well with this dish.
