Rice Pudding with Apples

The perfect rice pudding with apples recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 60 g Rice pudding
  • 150 ml Low-Fat milk
  • 30 ml Whipped cream
  • Half a vanilla pod
  • Pinch of salt
  • Half a lemon
  • 2 tsp Honey
  • 1 Apple
  • Cinnamon
  • Dried mint
  • 1 tbsp Cashew nuts
  1. Slit open the vanilla pod, scrape out the pulp. Bring the milk, cream and salt to the boil. Stir in rice and vanilla pulp, leave to swell over a low flame for about 25 minutes, stirring again and again. Season with 1 teaspoon honey and a little lemon juice.
  2. Wash the apple and cut into wedges. Heat some water with lemon juice in a saucepan, cook apple wedges for 5 minutes. Refine with honey and cinnamon. Arrange on the rice pudding. Garnish with mint and cashew nuts.
