Hearty Onion Soup

Hearty onion soup
- 250 g Onions
- 500 g Potatoes
- 1 tbsp Butter
- 1 liter Water
- 1 tbsp *Vorratshaltung Gemüsepaste – Pulver
- 3 Sausages
- Salt, gourmet pepper to taste
- 1 tbsp Vinegar
- 1 pinch Raw cane sugar
- 50 g Strips of bacon
- Parsley to taste
- Peel the onions and slice them thinly. Peel and dice the potatoes as well. Take a saucepan, add the butter, heat and steam the onion rings until translucent. Then add the diced potatoes, stir and fill up with water.
- * Stocking vegetable paste – add powder and bring to a boil. Then you add the sausages and let them cook for about a quarter of an hour. Season to taste with salt, gourmet pepper, vinegar and the raw cane sugar.
- After cooking the sausages, remove them and cut into slices. Add again. Take a small pan, add the strips of bacon and fry until crispy without fat. Then place on a paper towel and let the excess fat drip off.
- Add the drained crispy strips of bacon as well. Stir and add freshly chopped parsley to taste. Then place in a deep plate / bowl and serve immediately.
