Rice with bean sauce

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 can/n beans, red
  • 1 onion(s)
  • ½ cube of chicken stock
  • 1 tsp tomato paste
  • 1 tsp sugar, brown or white
  • 1 clove(s) garlic
  • oil
  • ½ cup(s) rice
  • 1 onion(s)

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Puree half a can of beans with half the liquid. Sauté the sugar with the chopped onion and garlic in oil. Pour in the pureed sauce and add the remaining beans. Cook on low heat for about 10 minutes. Rice: Sauté the chopped onion with the rice and pour in the chicken stock. Cover and cook the rice for about 15 minutes, then let it stand for about 10 minutes until the liquid is gone. Serve with: Chicken thighs
