Rice with tomato and peppers

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 4 cups rice
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • ½ onion(s)
  • 3 tomatoes
  • 1 bell pepper(s)
  • rice wine
  • oregano
  • Soy sauce
  • Salt

Instructions

Working time approx. 35 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

Prepare rice according to the package instructions. Meanwhile, peel the garlic cloves and half the onion. Trim the bell peppers and wash the tomatoes. Chop all ingredients into small pieces. When the rice is almost done, fry the garlic and diced onion in a hot pan. Then add the bell peppers and tomatoes. Season to taste with salt, rice wine, and soy sauce. Drain the rice and return it to the pot. Pour the sauce from the pan over it. Finally, season again with salt, rice wine, soy sauce, and oregano. Serve hot.
