Ricotta and wild berry tart

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 100 g sugar
  • 100 g butter
  • 200 g flour
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 lemon(s), (peel)
  • ½ pack of baking powder
  • 300 g ricotta
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 120 g sugar
  • 75 ml Marsala
  • 6 tbsp jam (forest berries)

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 50 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 20 minutes

Place all the dough ingredients in a bowl and knead together until you have a smooth dough. Wrap the dough in cling film and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes. For the filling, place the ricotta in a bowl. Separate the egg and add the egg yolk, sugar, and Marsala to the ricotta and mix everything well. Beat the egg whites until stiff peaks form and fold them into the mixture. Place the dough in a greased tart tin, forming a raised edge about 3 cm high. Prick the base several times with a fork. Spread the jam evenly over the base. Spread the ricotta mixture on top. Fold in the overlapping edges of the base. Bake in an oven preheated to 180°C for about 50 minutes (test with a skewer).
