Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 kg roast pork
  • 2 bunch soup vegetables
  • 2 tbsp mustard
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 250 ml water
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

First, rub the meat with mustard and season. Brown a large onion. Sear the meat on all sides in a roasting pan and deglaze with the water. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius (convection oven) or 200 degrees Celsius (electric oven). Chop the vegetables and braise in the oven with the browned meat for 1.5 hours. Baste with the meat juices occasionally. Finally, thicken the juices with a gravy thickener and serve the roast with vegetables and side dishes.
