Roasted beetroot

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 3 balls of beetroot, pre-cooked
  • 1 tbsp oil (safflower oil)
  • 1 small onion(s)
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 tbsp Parmesan, freshly grated
  • 2 pinch(s) salt and pepper, from the mill

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

with freshly grated Parmesan

Peel and finely dice the onion and garlic cloves. Dice the beetroot balls. Heat the oil in a pan and fry the onion and garlic until translucent. Now add the beetroot cubes and continue to fry for about 10 minutes, stirring. Finally, season generously with salt and freshly ground pepper and sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese. Serve this snack with rye bread or rolls, or with boiled potatoes as a meal.
