Roasted Brussels Sprouts

Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 1 kg Brussels sprouts
  • 4 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 pinch(s) of pepper
  • Walnuts
  • Parmesan

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 40 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour

Preheat the oven to 200°C. Wash and dry the Brussels sprouts, trim the stems, and remove the yellow leaves. Place the sprouts in a bag. Add the oil and seasonings. Mix well and marinate for about 10 minutes. Place the sprouts on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and drizzle with oil from the bag. Bake in the oven for 40 minutes. Gently shake the tray every 10 minutes to ensure the sprouts are roasted on all sides. Before serving, sprinkle the sprouts with freshly grated Parmesan cheese or chopped walnuts.
