- 2,5 kg Floury potatoes
- 200 g Bacon slices
- 200 g Grated Gouda
- 1 branch Freshly chopped rosemary
- 2 Branches Freshly chopped thyme
- Salt

- 0,25 tsp Caraway seeds
- Pork lard / fat or goose lard
- Olive oil
- 1 medium-sized Fresh onion
- Peel the potatoes, cut into pieces about 5cm in size, wash and cook in salted water for 10 minutes.
- Wet a baking dish thinly with olive oil and add a few flakes of the pork or goose lard. When the potatoes are drained, they are distributed evenly in the baking dish.
- Cook the casserole dish on the middle rack in the oven preheated to 200 ° C for 30 minutes. Since you now have some time, you peel the onion and cut it into fine half rings.
