Roasted Potatoes …

The perfect roasted potatoes … recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 6 Jacket potatoes from the previous day
  • 2 Roughly diced onions
  • 1 small Carrot
  • 4 Discs Bacon in strips
  • 30 g Branded butter
  • 1 tablespoon Oil for frying
  • Black pepper from the mill
  • Salt
  • 1 bunch Chopped fresh parsley
  1. Peel the potatoes and cut them into slices. Peel the carrot and cut into thin slices with the potato peeler. Then cut this crosswise into fine strips with a knife.
  2. Fry the bacon in a dry pan, then add the butter and add the potatoes. Spread the onions and strips of carrots over the top and let everything cook well, adding a little oil if necessary.
  3. Season with freshly ground pepper from the mill and a little salt and continue to fry, turning occasionally, until the desired degree of browning is achieved. Serve sprinkled with coarsely chopped parsley. We like to eat a simple herring in sauce from a can … we are campers.
