Roasted Potatoes …
The perfect roasted potatoes … recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 6 Jacket potatoes from the previous day
- 2 Roughly diced onions
- 1 small Carrot
- 4 Discs Bacon in strips
- 30 g Branded butter
- 1 tablespoon Oil for frying
- Black pepper from the mill
- Salt
- 1 bunch Chopped fresh parsley
- Peel the potatoes and cut them into slices. Peel the carrot and cut into thin slices with the potato peeler. Then cut this crosswise into fine strips with a knife.
- Fry the bacon in a dry pan, then add the butter and add the potatoes. Spread the onions and strips of carrots over the top and let everything cook well, adding a little oil if necessary.
- Season with freshly ground pepper from the mill and a little salt and continue to fry, turning occasionally, until the desired degree of browning is achieved. Serve sprinkled with coarsely chopped parsley. We like to eat a simple herring in sauce from a can … we are campers.
