Rocher chocolate ice cream

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 120 g dark chocolate
  • 240 ml milk
  • 2 eggs, large
  • 120 g sugar
  • 240 ml cream
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 200 g of crushed confectionery (Rocher or Amicelli, KitKat,…)

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 15 minutes

Melt the chocolate over a pan of simmering water. Carefully stir in the milk, whisking continuously until blended. Then let cool. Beat the eggs for about 1-2 minutes until fluffy. Gradually stir in the sugar, whisking for about 1 minute until dissolved. Add the cream, vanilla extract, and salt, and mix everything together. Finally, stir the chocolate mixture into the cream mixture. Prepare in an ice cream maker according to the instructions. Just before the ice cream is ready, add the crushed Rocher chocolates.
