Ingredients

  • 1 kg Roast was already rolled
  • 4 Garlic cloves pressed
  • Salt
  • Black pepper from the mill
  • Oil
  • Water or broth
  • 0,125 L Beer
  • 1 tsp Honey

Instructions

  • The roast was already rolled, wash and pat dry. Rub well with salt, pepper, caraway seeds and the pressed garlic cloves in a bowl with a lid, drizzle with oil and leave in the refrigerator for a few hours (preferably overnight).
  • Take the meat out the next day and let it stand until it has reached room temperature. Fry quickly all over in a pan, place in a frying pan and pour in a little water or stock and cook in the bakery at 180 degrees for about 1 1/2 hours.
  • Occasionally pour a marinade of beer and honey over them.
  • Take out the meat and let it rest a little, remove the string, we had dumplings and coleslaw with it.
