Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 125 g tea (blackcurrant or cherry)
  • 2 flowers of unsprayed scented roses (please use only the leaves)
  • 1 ½ liters of water
  • 1 kg rock sugar, small, white
  • 40 g citric acid
  • 1 lemon(s)
  • 1 bottle of vodka

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest period approx. 1 day; Total time approx. 1 day 15 minutes

Enjoy in sparkling wine or neat

Pluck the rose petals from the stem and trim off the white end at the bottom. Infuse the tea and rose petals in 1.5 liters of hot water, add rock candy, citric acid, and lemon juice, mix everything, and let it steep for 24 hours. Then strain the tea and add a bottle of vodka, then bottle. Delicious in sparkling wine or neat.
